About Me

Haley Bossé (They/Them) is a queer, non-binary poet and image:text artist. They emerged slowly from a drip of lichen and can now be found collecting plastic on the beach, wading shin-deep through mud and liquid sand, or consulting with the fungal gods.

Haley is a proud founding editor of the Monarch Queer Literary Awards and guest editor of Eye to the Telescope: (Non)Binaries. They are a recent alum of the McCormack Writing Center (formerly Tin House), Sundress Academy for the Arts, and Tupelo's 30/30 Project.

Haley's writing has been nominated for the Pushcart Prize, Best of the Net, Genrepunk's Haunting Award, and the Rhysling Award. Their poem Worshipping the Dirt placed second in The Field Guide Magazine's Walk Through the Woods Contest. Their poem, It Was a Child's War was a finalist in Iron Horse Literary Review's 2023 PhotoFinish Contest.

Haley's first chapbook, Aurora Comes Online, is available now from Game Over Books!
